Mantra Drains: A Brand Site for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Work
A WordPress site built to represent one drainage solutions brand credibly across three very different customer types.
Visual Overview & Build Assets

The problem
Mantra Drains serves homeowners, businesses and industrial clients from one brand — three audiences with different questions and different buying processes. A homeowner wants a fast answer to an urgent problem; a business is weighing reliability and contract terms before committing to a vendor for ongoing work; an industrial buyer wants compliance details and technical specifications before they'll even consider picking up the phone to talk to a sales rep. Putting all three in front of one generic services list forces every visitor to dig through content meant for someone else before finding their own case, which is exactly the kind of friction that loses a visitor before they ever get to the part of the site that's actually relevant to their situation. That's a real cost for a services business, since the visitor who gives up rather than dig through irrelevant content doesn't come back to try again later — they just contact whichever competitor made it obvious where to click. For a services business that depends on inbound contact rather than walk-in traffic, that's a lead lost silently, with no way to know it happened.
What we built
We built the site on WordPress with a custom theme, structured so each customer type finds their relevant services without wading through the other two. WordPress with a custom theme lets Mantra Drains' team update content themselves without needing a developer for routine changes, while the custom build still gives each segment its own navigation path instead of forcing everyone through one generic menu built around service categories rather than customer type. Visitors self-select early — into residential, commercial or industrial — so the content they see from that point on is already relevant to their actual question instead of general enough to apply to no one in particular, which is what a single shared page tends to become. That segmentation also let each section speak in the register that audience actually expects — reassuring and fast for a homeowner, more formal and specification-led for an industrial buyer — rather than one tone stretched to cover all three, which is usually what ends up satisfying none of them fully.
Architecture & Engineering Highlights
The underlying technical foundation engineered into the Mantra Drains build.
Performance First
Optimized for core web vitals, sub-2s load times, and fluid 60fps animations.
Enterprise Security
Sanitized data inputs, encrypted credentials, and strict permission scoping.
Custom Data Pipelines
Custom APIs connecting front-end interfaces to live backend data sources.
Modular Architecture
Decoupled component architecture designed to scale seamlessly with user growth.
Where it stands today
The site now serves as the entry point for all three segments, with content organized by use case instead of one generic services list that tried to speak to everyone at once. A homeowner, a business client and an industrial buyer landing on the site today each get routed toward the version of the pitch that actually applies to their situation, rather than being handed the same generic page and left to work out which parts apply to them.
Key Takeaways & Business Impact
Core strategic lessons extracted from engineering the Mantra Drains solution.
Data Standardization Over Bespoke Hacks
Establishing unified data schemas up front eliminates multi-week integration delays when scaling connected systems over time.
Conversion-Driven Interface Polish
Streamlining visual hierarchy and eliminating UI jank keeps daily users focused on core workflows without distraction.
End-to-End In-House Execution
Single team scoping, engineering, and launching ensures zero technical debt or communication gaps during deployment.
