The problem
Managing a distributed software studio requires coordinated work tracking, attendance verification, and payroll processing. Most off-the-shelf tools either focus strictly on HR records or project management, forcing us to shuffle data between multiple spreadsheets, Slack channels, and invoicing apps. This manual process led to payroll errors, lost timesheets, and a lack of clear visibility into project profit margins. We needed a unified system that could serve as the single source of truth for both team operations and client billing.
What we built
We designed and built Webcomp People, a multi-tenant HRMS and team productivity suite. It integrates automatic background time tracking, visual Kanban task boards, and payroll-ready reporting in a single interface. The application features tenant isolation so multiple organizations can run on the same infrastructure, with subscription metering and automated billing wired through Stripe.
